Myrtle Beach Intermediate School celebrates getting a $30,000 national prize from a grant application sponsored by the Discovery Education and Sports Authority with a Find Your Balance Challenge at the school on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. The grant was written by a team of students from the school. Of the $30,000, half will be used for playground equipment and the other half will go towards making a soccer field behind the school.

Additional Info for Mac users: If you do not see video (after clicking 'allow'), do the following:
  1. Click on the blue "gear" icon in the lower right corner to bring up the settings window.
  2. Click on the webcam icon.
  3. If you are using a built in iSight camera, choose USB Video Class Video from the pulldown menu. You should see video immediately.

  4. Click "close" button.
  5. Record! You must record at least ten seconds before you can stop.
